Andra is a fourth-year Sociology and Mexican American Studies major at the University of Texas at Austin with an interest in immigration, law, and policy. Outside of school, she clerks for the Waylon Brown Law Firm, which specializes in family law issues. She enjoys running, cooking, and making music.
In January 2015, Andra joined the pro bono work of this office. She is a much-appreciated volunteer, specifically advocating for women & children refugees who are incarcerated by U.S. Immigration Control & Enforcement (ICE) in the detention center operated by the for-profit prison corporation, GEO, at 409 FM 1144 in Karnes City, Texas.
