“Due process” for immigrants who are “detained”
I had to do a double-take when I saw this sign for the facility at Greens Road in Houston. ICE is a law enforcement agency, part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Immigration courts are part of the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), an agency within the U.S. Department of Justice. They don't always feel like separate entities, but they are. Supposed. To. Be. This sign is rather a little too honest.
